The Collaborative Pianist

Recently we started a series of interactive recitals here at Cunningham Piano Company that we thought would appeal to many musicians. Scheduled to continue through this summer, the series is called The Collaborative Pianist and it focuses on the piano not as a solo instrument, but as part of an ensemble. The series is designed to give the audience a glimpse into the thoughts, ideas, methods, and inspirations of some of our area’s most interesting and versatile artists.

Featured Artists:

Christopher Pfund, Tenor
Mr. Pfund has received critical acclaim for his performances with major orchestras on three continents, including our own Philadelphia Orchestra. We are pleased to have him as a featured performer.

Hugh Sung, Pianist
Hugh Sung is one finest collaborative pianists anywhere. His work with The Curtis Institute here in Philadelphia, as well as with colleges and artists worldwide, have made him a desirable addition to any program.
