Here in Philadelphia we occasionally have to use a crane to deliver a single piano to a second or third floor. In certain neighborhoods the streets are narrow and so are the stairways. It is very rare that a music school would choose a location that needed a crane to deliver the pianos they need, but in Chestnut Hill on July 29th, that is exactly what happened.
Richard Rudin owns Maplewood Music Studio and loves having a location in the historic community of Chestnut Hill. Germantown Avenue features historic cobblestone streets and lovely shops, but also narrow hallways and stairways with turns that make moving a grand piano impossible.

Mr. Rudin commented on his choice of the new Cunningham pianos, "I love the new model of Cunningham Piano. In it's price range there is nothing that can beat it. In fact, I like it better than many pianos that sell for much more."
